A pump is a device that moves fluids (liquids or gases), or sometimes slurries, by mechanical action, typically converted from electrical energy into Hydraulic energy. Pumps can be classified into three major groups according to the method they use to move the fluid: direct lift, displacement, and gravity pumps.
A pump moves liquids or gases from a lower pressure to a higher pressure and is responsible for this difference in pressure.
Definition of Motor
The motor can be defined as, it is an electromechanical device, and changes the energy from one forms to another like electrical to mechanical. The working principle of each motor may be different but the basic law is same in all the motors. Generally, motors are available into two types like AC motors & DC motors
